Healthy Packed Lunches
If you decide to bring a packed lunch in for your child it is still vital to provide a healthy and balanced diet. Lunch is an important factor within the school day and a healthy packed lunch should include plenty of foods that contain the nutrients that children need, and fewer foods that are high in sugar and saturated fat. Due to allergies we ask that NO nut products are brought into school.

Lunch time is also time for the children to burn off some energy and recharge. Included in their lunch hour our amazing lunchtime team provide activities and games which promotes learning through play and encourages children to develop a further understanding of sharing, patience and listening. There are a wide variety of games chosen for the children, if they so wish to take part. These games can be split into different zones of play, concentrating on a variety of skills. In the summer/ dryer weather the children also get the opportunity to explore field and play on our wooden climbing frame.
