Welcome to Year R

Our Early Years Team are currently split into two classes across three classrooms;

Starlings and Sparrows, with a third classroom as a quiet ‘break-out’ room.

The classrooms are free flowing, meaning that when it comes to Busy Bee time the children can safely move from one class to another.

PE:

Year R’s PE day from 1 November 2023 will be on: Wednesdays

Children are currently coming into school in their PE kit. This reduces the amount of items coming in and out of school. Please can you make sure all jewellery is removed as part of our health and safety guidance.

It is always good practice to name all items of clothing too!

We would ask that PE kits consist of black shorts or trackies when it is colder and a plain white t-shirt. School jumpers or cardigans can be worn on top so please avoid hoodies or other sweatshirts.

We encourage the children to wear black plimsolls or plain black trainers.
